From Surviving to Thriving - and Now Giving Back
I am a single mother and domestic abuse survivor who rebuilt my life from safe houses, food stamps and tight budgets. With determination, resilience, and the support of this community, I raised two remarkable children: my son, a commissioned Air Force Officer now studying Medicine at UTMB, Galveston, and my daughter, who is pursuing Pre-law at Harvard University. I am incredibly proud of their commitment to service and leadership towards our Country.
Fifteen years ago, I made Cedar Park our home, where strong public schools, excellent amenities, and a supportive community helped my children and our family thrive.
I have built a career in Program and Project Management, working with leading companies including Apple, Microsoft, Nike, Nokia, and CVS Healthcare. My experience managing large-scale projects and multi million dollar budgets has given me the skills to deliver results and make a meaningful impact wherever I serve.
After my children went to college, I turned my focus to giving back to the community:
I served as two-terms President, educating and engaging with South Asian communities on civic engagement and political awareness.
I was appointed by Mayor of Austin Kirk Watson to the Commission on Immigrant Affairs and Minority & Women-Owned Business Procurement Program, promoting economic growth, equity, and representation
I volunteered as a Board Director, promoting international goodwill, cultural understanding, and economic collaboration between Austin and its global partner cities.
I am actively involved in the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce (GAACC) & Network of Asian American Organizations (NAAO) because they bring Asian American groups together to strengthen our voices, encourage civic participation, support local businesses and nonprofits, and work closely with local leaders and institutions.
I was appointed by Mayor Jim Penniman Morin; review development proposals, guide planning updates, and ensure sustainable growth.
am proud to be a part of these local Organizations, where I get an opportunity to serve the community through volunteerism, civic leadership, and service projects that support youth, senior citizens, health, education, and local needs.
I joined the Cedar Park Chamber Leadership Program to better understand how the city works, grow as a civic and business leader, and build strong relationships with local leaders so I can better serve Cedar Park's future.

Vision & Commitment
My personal journey has built resilience, courage, and the ability to rise after every setback. Combined with my deep commitment to community service, these experiences make me a strong and compassionate choice for the Cedar Park City Council.
“Family values, culture, and community define Cedar Park, and I am committed to preserving them while responsibly preparing our city for its next phase of economic growth”
